Shekinah Christian Academy operates with a "Spirit of Excellence" in a Christian, caring and nurturing atmosphere.

Our staff consists of professionals who believe in the Vision and the Mission of the school and who in a collaborative effort share its Christian and Core Values. We have a God-given passion for teaching and facilitating positive growth and development in our youth and our community.

Religious education is taught daily in all grades. The bible course is designed to encourage the spiritual growth of each student and to lay a foundation for a basic knowledge of Old and New Testament. All students will participate in weekly chapel services.

Academics		...My greatest desire is to present myself and God whom I serve with complete excellence. I teach my students order, teaching them to always put God first. At the beginning of each of my classes, I present the Word of God and Prayer. I commit to this practice daily and by doing this. I have instilled the same values in my students. The Shekinah Christian Academy curriculum is a unique combination of academic arenas, designed to assist students to succeed based on individual skills, abilities at multi-levels. The Curriculum is a combination of the Thematic Approach which is based on the Sunshine State Standards, Cooperative Learning Strategies, Social and Life-Long Learning Skills, the ABEKA and Biblical Studies. In addition, we offer a specialized Reading, Comprehension and Critical Thinking Program to motivate our students to achieve at their highest potential. It is our belief that all students can learn but not necessarily at the same time or through the same methods, therefore we incorporate the Nine Ways of Learning by Howard Gardner into our daily lesson plans

SPORTS AND EXTRA-CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES
The Shekinah Christian Academy has expanded is program to include the following activities: FHSAA Competition Basketball Football Volleyball Competition Bowling Other activities include: Art Appreciation, Step Team, Chorus, and Field Trips
