After enlisting in the military in 1987, Mrs. Fanner was deported to serve in Sigonella, Italy and Rota, Spain.  It was there where she gave birth to her first child, Chassilyn Y. Fanner of December of 1989.

Serving her duty in Spain, Mrs. Fanner was then assigned to serve in Puerto Rico. While in Puerto Rico, Mrs. Fanner gave birth to her youngest child, Christopher D. Fanner in July of 1993. In 1995, Mrs. Fanner was ordered back to the states and was stationed in Kings Bay, GA. In that same year, Mrs. Fanner and her entire family joined the Titus Harvest Center, now the Titus Shekinah Harvest Dome Spectrum. It was at this time that Mrs. Fanner accepted Jesus as her Lord and personal Savior. The Fanner’s still attend Titus, where Mrs. Fanner is a member of the Titus Shekinah International Mass choir, the leadership ministry, and also the auxiliary leader of the Wailing Wives, a ministry that caters to women with unsaved husbands.

After eleven years of serving in the military and four years of serving in the Navy reserves, Mrs. Fanner retired with an honorable discharge and continued to reside in Orange Park, FL. Mrs. Fanner decided to further pursue her education, by attending Florida Metropolitan University, where she graduated Cum Lade with all honors and attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in the fall of 2004.

Mrs. Fanner also attended PCC (Pensacola Christian College), where she attained her certification of training with the Abeka curriculum. To help her teaching career, she attended Teach First Coast, an alternative teaching program. Through this program, Mrs. Fanner obtained her certificate of eligibility for Business Education Grades 6-12.

Mrs. Fanner taught high school Social Science and English for the 2006-2007 school year. During the year, she manifested a cultural event, The Beauty Within, which the Lord gave to her in a vision. The program featured poetry, skits, dancing, modeling, and music to help inform the students of their culture and empower them to follow in the same footsteps as many before them. The Beauty Within was a huge success that motivated other teacher’s to pursue new techniques for teaching students of their past.

Mrs. Fanner currently holds a temporary administrator certificate with FACCS (Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools); whereas upon the completion of her Master’s Degree with Nova Southeastern University in educational leadership, she will obtain a permanent administrator certification through FACCS, and also a standard certification with the Florida Department of Education.

Mrs. Fanner has a growing compassion for children. Her desire is to empower her students both spiritually and educationally. With the help and guidance of the Lord, Mrs. Fanner believes to make a positive change in as many students’ lives as she can.

VISION

My vision for teaching is to positively affect the lives of every student that walks across the threshold of my classroom.

My greatest desire is to present myself and God whom I serve with complete excellence. I teach my students order, teaching them to always put God first. At the beginning of each of my classes, I present the Word of god and Prayer. I commit to this to this practice daily and by doing this. I have instilled the same values in my students. The commitment that I have with God overflows into my life and others.

My prayer is that others around me will be contagiously blessed. I want to share all of what God has given and entrusted me with. I love the students that I teach. I have compassion for them and a heart of fulfilled love to give them. They are the Heart of God. He loves them unconditionally and I too share the same love for them.

My heart felt prayer is that God would use me to draw young men and women to Him. To teach them the ways of God and to share the greatest gift of all salvation through Jesus Christ, with them.
